I was wondering how old you had to be to be in the diving unit? And where do I go to get certified?

To whom it may concern. I guess this is their area where one submits question's to the unit? My question is this. I have been interested for some time in becoming a volunteer diver because of my desire to help others. I am not certified or anything like that and was wondering if you provide the training for this should you desire the qualities in an individual for your unit. If not no big deal I will get cirtafied on my own. Are you looking for vounteers now? Brian

Orlando Comments: As a boy in Bridgeport, Pa in the late 40's-50's, I remember seeing the Unit pull drowning victims from the Schuylkill River Dam near the Bridgeport-Norristown Bridge. Yo Guys!! Great website! See ya finally got real hi-tech! Well, I am still active duty Navy and am doing my 'shore' duty here in Atlanta after seven years straight of sea-duty with SPECWAR.
